I felt compelled to write this, because in knowing you for the short time that I have, my life has been changed and turned around completely. I’ve always been kind of an introvert.. never really out here showing pride for my school, because I never wanted to really. As you know, I didn’t grow up with much money…or privilege and didn’t think I would even go to college. Well, thank God I did, for it gave me the opportunity to meet you, my first life coach! I remember being so tired walking into our business marketing course thinking, it’s just going to be another boring course to finish up this minor. There were cookies being passed around and music playing. I had to record a bit of it, so that my family would believe that I had a class set up like this. It was truly unbelievable. The vibe and smiles on everyone’s faces…priceless. It’s because you gave us so much of yourself and told us “YOUR SUCCESS IS MY #1 PRIORITY” that we pushed ourselves mentally…academically and did our best. As I once told you, that’s what happens when an educator puts their life, passion, soul, and everything they’ve got into changing the lives and perspectives of their students. I had never, EVER met a professor like you in Brooklyn College…and I still haven’t. Why? Because you’re not just a professor, you are a COACH, a motivator, a MENTOR. I know too many people who are forever grateful to you and LOVE you as a life coach and friend. What you do is what education is about. The way we leave your classes is how every student deserves to leave a class. How you make us feel about ourselves and our abilities is how every student should feel, because teachers..professors…educators, are SUPPOSED to do just that. Inspire the student to go above and beyond, and eventually become the future leaders of the world. Thanks to you, I am now a vice president of two amazing business clubs…I LOVE my (business) school, and I am PROUD to be a part of Brooklyn College, because it has high grade professors like you. Lastly, I am forever grateful that you talked this Latina who didn’t know what she was going to do with her life…into applying for Grad school to pursue my Master’s degree. Like I said, You’ve changed my life completely, and I can’t say enough wonderful things about you. None of us could ever do your legacy any justice. My favorite professor, my favorite coach in life other than my mother…lol, Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Your biggest fan,
